Published independently by Alleviated Records, this 380 page book draws from Mr. Heard's extensive archive of thousands of photographs, event flyers, and historical documents, many of which have never been seen before. On My Way contains excerpts from over 8 hours of interviews, but the journey is primarily visual: the photographs taken by Mr. Heard and his collaborators serve as a personal and artistic odyssey, documenting almost every single one of the over 350 gigs Mr. Heard has performed in his career.
